Join us for Worship, Sundays 10:30 am
Riverview’s Theology of Worship states: “We believe our worship is reserved solely for God, and God alone. God is the subject and object of worship – it is about him and for him. He is the only one worthy of our praise…. We believe that God’s glory and our celebration of it in worship should be the focus and goal of all life and ministry. Worship is the primary purpose for which God created human beings, and is therefore our highest endeavor and greatest fulfillment.”
Our Sunday worship service endeavors to direct us to this God-glorifying vision of worship through the use of music, preaching, and prayer.
Our service includes a mix of modern and traditional music led by our worship team and a biblically based, gospel-centered message.
We welcome all believers to join us in observing communion the first Sunday of each month.
For Children
At Riverview we believe that children are as much a part of the church as anyone else in the Body of Christ, and so we encourage parents and children to engage in worship with the church as much as possible.
Nursery care is provided during the worship service for infants age 0-2. Children's Church is an option for children ages 2-3 and 4-6 in the preschool wing during the service. Kids aged 4-6 are dismissed midway through the service to attend Children's Church, while kids aged 2-3 can spend the entire worship service in their class. Children's Church seeks to provide our preschool children with a solid foundation in the scriptures by learning Bible stories in an effort to see the “big picture” of the Bible, and to provide a context for them for worship. All children in grades one and above are invited to attend the service in the sanctuary with their families. Elementary aged children are provided with Kid’s Bulletins that engage their minds and hearts in the Word of God.
