College & Young Adults

The goal of Riverview's college & young adult ministries is to help one another grow in how we know, love, and live for God as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Bible & fellowship

The Lord has blessed us with a host of treasures in His word and in His people. In this college-aged ministry, we want to seek out these treasures through regular Bible study and fellowship with one another. Thus, during the school year, we encourage joining our community groups on Wednesday evenings of every week at 6:30 for a Bible study. Throughout the year, we join together in service projects, outings, or fellowship meals with plenty of food and fun for all. You can drop in at any time during the year, and we’ll be the merrier for your presence. Contact Pastor Richard (richard@riverviewbaptist.net) for more details or with any questions.

Other Gatherings

Whether you are in college, out of college, married, or single, we also have occasional gatherings for those in their 20s and 30s for broader growth and fellowship opportunities.

Daughters of the King, a young adult female study group, will resume September 22, 2023 to meet each Thursday night via Zoom. They’ll study “This Changes Everything”, a study for young adults by Ben Stuart that unpacks the book of James. The world desperately needs Christians whose actions match their convictions. A young generation is rising up, and they need to see the power of the gospel working its way out into our everyday lives. James will call us to evaluate the way we deal with hardship, handle money, use our words, and plan our futures.
